Wildlife Protection

Healthy wildlife populations depend on healthy habitats. Our Wildlife Protection Program focuses on species at risk and the ecosystems they depend on. We use science-based approaches to monitor populations and implement recovery strategies.

Our Work Includes:

• Species at risk monitoring and recovery planning
• Habitat enhancement projects (nest boxes, brush piles, etc.)
• Predator-prey dynamics research
• Collaboration with Manitoba Conservation and Climate
• Citizen science programs for wildlife monitoring

Through these initiatives, we work to ensure that Manitoba's diverse wildlife continues to thrive in their natural habitats.
